Hosta Hideaway will be closed for the Leaskdale Loop Christmas Markets on November 15 & 16 but please visit our other members for some great shopping and then sit down and relax and enjoy the reading of Charles Dickens'story, A Christmas Carol, on November 16th at 2:00 pm.

How to get here.
If you are coming north from Uxbridge ignore the signs at Sandford Rd and Regional Road 1(7th concession) that say Closed. Go around the barrier and continue north. At Ashworth Rd once again , ignore the sign that says closed, go around the barrier and continue to 10479- Hosta Hideaway.

If you are coming south from Leaskdale, take the Leaskdale road west to the 6th concession, turn south(left) and continue until you reach the Ashworth sideroad. Turn east(left) and take this across to the 7th Concession. Ignore the barrier and closed sign and turn north and continue to 10479.

Join us tomorrow for a day in the country. Take a tour of the Thomas Foster Memorial and the former home of Lucy Maud Montgomery. Lots of goodies are available along the route: jams, jellies, honey, maple syrup, fresh farm eggs, lavender soaps and lotions, pottery, antiques, daylilies and hostas, art, and sculpture.Visit the minature donkeys and horses at the Loft. Lunch can be enjoyed at the Leaskdale Country store ( Indian Food) Roosters food truck and VillaVida Loca at the smoke shack BBQ. Such a great way to spend the day. We look forward to seeing you soon.
