Biophilic design is strong and for good reason. It brings an energy of calm and comfort which enables efficient and creative work to get done.
All of the design elements are uniquely stunning on their own and when brought together the effect is chef’s kiss 🤌🏼

Tight budget? No need to sacrifice design. Elevated finishing selections can easily be accomplished within a responsible budget. With a curated design concept, a renovation, suite or new build can be more than a boring blank slate. Neutral design is possible beyond white and staggered subway tile.

Striking patterned Spanish tile with a subtle terrazzo effect now installed for an ensuite renovation. A warm wood vanity with black hardware and accents will tie this tile in seamlessly. Watch this space for the end result…

As we enter the final days of 2023 I want to give thanks to my community and industry for the support, respect and kindness shown to me.
Blessings, peace and prosperity will sprinkle down in 2024...and so it is!

Baseboards and trims. They play much more of a role in your overall aesthetic than many give them credit for. They can influence the perceived size of a room, frame it, lead the eye, contribute to pattern or repetition, house ambient lighting…color, finish, style, profile, size…so many choices but often not used advantageously.
The finer details are what makes up the greater picture!

01/12/2023

design concept.
Working through the details to give this kitchen some new life. A castle stone wall that will extend through to the entertaining space, dark and moody cabinets, cement look stone countertops, wood bar top, back lit w**e cabinet and display, copper and black accents…some of the planned elements to expect. The home itself is 100 years old so keeping with that old world feel. I’m always grateful for my clients that trust me and trust the process. The physical and energetic feeling that they get once it all comes together can never be fully translated until they get to the finish line.

Another before and after of this exterior paint refresh we completed on this established home. It sure creates a beautiful, neutral and grounding canvas to display the beautiful greenery and landscape of the property. Also to note the golden lawn that is a staple out here on Vancouver Island. We are conscious of water conservation during the hot summer months and plus, we have all winter to enjoy it all lush and green 🌿🌲🌱💦☀️

A deep earthy green, warm yet bright paint and black hardware for contrast. Add a mirror with an unconventional shape and voila, you have a budget conscious finishing package, with a designer touch.

A feeling of great happiness and triumph.

Do you see it emanating from me? I wanted to capture and subsequently share how I felt in this moment after meeting with a satisfied client. This is what my job, my passion provides me. I am given opportunities to enhance people’s lives when they engage me to design for them. That is the added bonus for me on top of the satisfaction I experience from creating the art of design…when I can see and feel how much joy and pleasure others experience as a result of my work.
Thank you…to all my past, current and future clients for giving me the best feelings of all.
Sincerely,
Nicole

Our commercial client needed a custom countertop workspace behind the cash desk. It needed to be high, have easy access storage beneath and storage above. To maintain the modern, fresh and natural elements of the shop design we went with this river rock pebble mosaic for the countertop surface, accentuated with frosted glass sliding doors beneath that are reminiscent of the color of water and finished it off with high shine, white acrylic upper cabinetry. Turned out beautifully and functional!

A look at the beautiful metallic epoxy floor we applied as part of the key elements in this drastic renovation. Swipe to see the full floor prior to bringing in display cabinets, decor items and store inventory. It was important not to be shy on the marble style veining so that it would still show when the store design was completed. “Trust the process” is a key statement when doing big renovations!
