We wish to thank everyone who stopped by Woodland Hillside during the West Kootenay Regional Arts Council Cultural Tour! 💜🥹

Such a wonderful 2 days of meeting new friends, visiting with old ones and welcoming both community members and visitors. What an amazing experience! Your enthusiasm to learn about our rescued wood business and the works of our Artisan Marketplace artists was truly inspiring! So many people visiting all the different arts and culture venues in our region! 🌟

We would like to take a moment to celebrate Alli Schroder! 🎉⚾🧢🌟

This local young woman is an inspiration to so many. She was recently drafted to the first Women's Pro Baseball League in over 70 years! Alli not only plays for the Women's National Team Baseball Canada but now is part of WPBL Boston Hunters! 🤩

We are so proud of her accomplishments and the hard work she puts into everything she does including being a Wildland Firefighter. ❤️

Alli worked with us to create a graphic of her on our own rescued wood Lucky 12 Baseball games! Thank you Alli for being such an amazing role model and inspiring future girls and women to follow their dreams. 🌠🌟

Yvon's beautiful rock designs delight people of all ages! The process of crafting these shapes takes skill and patience. Rocks often crack so each completed heart is a special and unique piece!

Next up in our West Kootenay Regional Arts Council Cultural Tour line up is this very talented couple! 🤩

SusanCooley Art showcases her talent as both a photographer and a painter. Beautiful colours and digital work bring new life to her photographs. The delightful colours of her flower paintings bring a smile to all that see them!

Jseephotographs showcases a mixture of wildlife and landscapes that bring vivid moments to life. John combines his love with the outdoors to capture what he sees around him in nature.

Susan and John will be at Woodland Hillside on Saturday August 8th from 1 pm to 4 pm. What a demo and meet these talented artists in person!

ChrisMarit fiber Art, drawing, painting, and pottery is an artist who can work in many mediums. Most of her works in our Artisan Marketplace are in fiber arts. But you get a sprinkling of other areas too!

Her whimsical and delightful characters and functional art are great for all ages.
