This project involved removing an existing bar fridge structure and replacing it with a new one that was 3 times as large. The idea was to give the client additional storage as well as a kitchenette to allow for meal prep and entertainment during the summer months.

The structure has 3 separate roller style doors which are all operated by a remote control. The structure is cladded in tongue and groove cedar. The kitchenette is made from Ash, which compliments the cedar very nicely.

The fridge bay is insulated to help to protect it in the winter. The roof is shingled with asphalt shingles and all of the flashing used was custom made for the structure.

This project involved the removal of 2 rotten planters, approximately 650 square feet of decking, and 1/2 of the rotten joists. All of the deck boards were replaced and new bench seating was built in addition to new planter boxes.

Along with the new seating and planters, an accent wall and louvred box was built against the house. The accent wall helps to hide some of the brick and the louvred box allows the exhaust vents to breathe while maintaining the esthetic of the backyard.
