The relationship between fashion and interior design has always fascinated us.⁠

While in Milan, we visited the Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades exhibition, where the work of Pierre Legrain was brought back into conversation. An influential Art Deco designer, his furniture and decorative objects continue to inspire creatives nearly a century later.⁠
⁠
Our favourite part of the exhibition was a recreation of a 1920s luxury train carriage, where iconic Louis Vuitton trunks were presented alongside Legrain’s furniture. It was a beautiful study in craftsmanship, materiality and enduring design.⁠

What began as a request to furnish a condominium evolved into a reimagining of how our client wanted to live. Designed around her lifestyle, every element was carefully tailored to her needs - from the soft, organic curves to the warm, natural material palette.⁠

One theme that stood out throughout Salone del Mobile was the growing importance of lighting in residential interiors. From sculptural decorative fixtures to seamlessly integrated architectural lighting, designers are using light not just to illuminate spaces, but to shape mood, experience and the way we live within them.⁠

Throughout Salone, we saw lighting treated as an architectural feature rather than simply a functional necessity. There was also a clear shift away from direct, intense lighting in favour of a softer, more ambient glow.⁠
⁠
We love incorporating sculptural, statement lighting into our designs and we left Milan inspired by new possibilities for integrating light into the spaces we create.⁠
