🌄Proudly Completing the Renovation of Surfrider Foundation’s "Blue Barrel" Facility! 🌊♻️

We’re thrilled to announce the successful completion of our latest project—the renovation of the Surfrider Foundation Canada’s new "Blue Barrel" facility in Ucluelet, BC! This innovative space is now home to ReSurf, Canada’s first surf gear repair and recycling program, tackling the waste of wetsuits and surfboards while promoting sustainability in the surf industry.

🌍 Why This Project Matters
Every year, 13,000 lbs of wetsuits and 11,000 lbs of surfboards end up in landfills—until now. The ReSurf program is pioneering repair, reuse, and recycling to keep gear out of landfills and give it new life.

✨ Fun Fact: The shredded neoprene will be turned into yoga mats, and old surfboard foam will be remade into new blanks for shaping!

A huge thank you to Surfrider Foundation Canada, the Government of British Columbia’s Plastic Action Fund, and our incredible team for making this vision a reality. We’re honored to contribute to a project that protects our oceans and supports sustainable surfing.
