Here's to another awesome MEC Outdoor Nation - Ontario project, Camping With Strangers.

What a great idea to make camping more accessible in Ontario - we love it!

Camping with Strangers is part ride share, part cost cutting, and part guided trip to make the best parts of Ontario more accessible. Trips range from day hikes, to back-country adventures or cost sharing on a provincial park camp site.

Parkbus is introducing the TD Park Express - taking you from the city to a national/provincial park nearby... for free!

Toronto -> Rouge National Urban Park
Vancouver -> Golden Ears Provincial Park
Edmonton -> Elk Island National Park
Montreal -> Parc National de la Yamaska

The free TD Park Express service will make our treasured wilderness spaces accessible to thousands of first-time visitors, which entails a great deal of responsibility to ensure that every first-time visitor behaves in a safe and responsible manner.

ARTIST SNEAK PEEK #5: Watching our fellow muralist, Pam make art "au naturel" was pretty magical on our trip to Rouge Valley. She'll be showing her watercolour pieces created with pencil and natural pigments from leaves, stamens and petals at Gallery 1313.
