Frustratingly, we are having issues with our phone system. It's not allowing inbound calls right now. If you need to reach us, email is the best option. I'm working on getting this resolved ASAP. Apologies to anyone who has been unable to call us.

Now offering FIREWOOD FOR SALE

$185+HST per cage when picked up, delivery available for an added cost. Delivery costs vary and cages not included.

Each cage is filled with split, fully-seasoned, ready to burn, high-quality hardwood. None of the low BTU species like Manitoba Maple, Siberian Elm, or Tree of Heaven. These are only filled with a mix of Oak, Maple, Beech, Mulberry, Birch, and Ash.

This wood is all locally sourced and is a byproduct of our tree care operations in Toronto.

Each cage holds roughly a half of a face cord.

Please message us on here or email us at [email protected] if you are interested.

Mikey's Tree Care Inc. is looking to hire 1 climber, ideally full time, but open to a unique work schedule/arrangement.

We are a small but well-established company in our 8th year of operations. Our yard is in Toronto's East end. We have a really good group of people, flexible and accommodating boss, competitive wages, and profit sharing.

I'm open to hiring a climber that can't work 5 days a week, but I would need a commitment to at least 3 of the same days every week (ie. work every week Wednesday-Friday).

Position: Climber/Crew leader
Hours: 44 per week (open to someone available for as little as 24 hr/week)
Pay: $35-$50 per hour (plus profit sharing annual bonus expected to equal $3000-$5500)
-At least 2 years of climbing experience
-Comfortable working in tight drop zones and using complex rigging
-Comfortable climbing without spurs for trimming and with spurs for removals
-Able to communicate and plan with crew and management
-G license and experience driving truck towing chipper
-Certified arborist would be ideal

If interested, please do not comment, just send me a message on here or an email to [email protected]
Thank you,

Video from last week showing one permitted removal and some smaller trees we did in the upper beaches. As certified arborists, we can assist in getting permits for removal of trees over 30cm in diameter that are in poor condition. We write the arborist report and handle all the communication with the city so that you can save time and won't have any headaches.

Hello East Toronto and Happy Spring. This was shot during black walnut trim we did in East York last week. Quincy has worked for us for a number of years and he graduated Humber's Level 1 of apprenticeship training at the end of March. Luke joined him in the tree to help with some of the more challenging parts and Evelyn assisted on the ground.

We're excited to continue serving the east side of Toronto this year. Please reach out via phone, email, or website if you'd like a free estimate.

I decided to take a little video showing our new stump grinder. Excited to have this machine and venture into more stump grinding.

This video is from a couple weeks ago when we removed the deadwood from this very large Red Oak.

We're going to be taking a little break soon before going back to full time work in mid March. Looking very forward to 2021 and thank you to everyone who used our services in 2020.

What amazing weather we had today. Matthew got up in this Honey Locust for a light trim away from the house and some telecommunication lines.

These photos are from a few weeks back when we had the opportunity to remove 3 dead Ash trees. Needed to be very cautious as Ash become very brittle after an Emerald Ash Borer infestation and these had been dead for some time.
