TORONTO, ON – In a major move to accelerate the City of Toronto’s Homelessness Services Capital Infrastructure Strategy, Renokrew and Corebuild (Krew-Build Toronto Shelters GP) have officially been awarded the Construction Management contract for the new shelter development at Lot 4 - Eglinton Ave. W. by the City of Toronto.

The project is set to be a landmark in sustainable institutional design. This 7-storey, 35,000 sq. ft. facility will utilize a heavy timber and glulam (glued laminated timber) structure, positioning it at the cutting edge of modern, low-carbon construction methods.

This facility is purpose-built to serve approximately 80 adults and couples, featuring a design that emphasizes inclusivity and accessibility. Follow and for project updates as details are released.

🎅Dear Santa,

If you’ve been watching the Renokrew krew this year, you already know we’ve been busy. We wrapped up a strong year, hit some big milestones, and still found time to gather around the table for our Christmas luncheon, because good work feels even better when you get to celebrate it together.

Here’s what we’re asking for this Christmas: clear roads for the winter drive, smooth inspections, on-time deliveries, and a little extra patience for everyone chasing year-end punch lists. If you can throw in a few extra long weekends and a fresh set of batteries for every jobsite drill, we won’t complain.

To our krews, partners, and clients, thanks for a great year and for being part of the journey. Merry Christmas and happy holidays from all of us at Renokrew.

We're proud to share the story behind the Anduhyaun Women's Shelter—Toronto's only Indigenous-led shelter for women experiencing violence.

This project was built with deep respect for culture, healing, and community. From precise helical pile foundations to the carefully crafted Nookomis Room, our team delivered with intention and care.

The shelter's design by - our architectural partner - earned top awards for architecture and social impact, and Renokrew was honoured with the Ontario Builder Award for Construction Excellence.

We’re honoured to have built a place that supports healing and community, Anduhyaun means “our home” in Ojibwe and that’s exactly what it is. The design, by , was inspired by an Indigenous way of seeing everything connected, flowing like the sky and water. The colours and layout bring that feeling to life.
