Ever seen chunks of concrete breaking off a balcony or column? That's called spalling.

At this loading dock, our crew set the rebar and forms, installed rigid insulation along the foundation, graded the base and compacted it in lifts before checking depth for the pour.

Every floor line on a high-rise takes a beating from weather.

On this residential tower, the concrete slab edges were peeling and breaking apart. Working from swing stages, our crew removed the damaged concrete, rebuilt the edges and finished them with a protective coating. Swipe to see the before and after.

Roof deck expansion joints let the deck move with the seasons. When they fail, water finds its way into the space below.

On this project, the roof deck expansion joint along the building had failed and water was getting through. Our crew dug down to the joint, stripped the failed system, repaired the concrete on both sides and installed a new expansion joint with waterproofing. Then we sealed the top edge, backfilled, compacted and put the patio pavers back.

The result: a watertight roof deck joint and outdoor space back to normal for residents.
