There’s a version of this house that exists for about two weeks, and then it’s gone for the next twenty years.

Once the drywall goes back up, nobody checks any of it again, including you.

That’s the actual risk in a pre-reno demo. Not the tear-out itself, but what gets missed or over-removed while it’s happening, because both mistakes become someone else’s problem later. Yours, usually, once the walls are closed and the schedule’s already moved on.

Before anything came down here, we walked the house against Pine Glen’s plan for this renovation. Structural stayed. Anything in the final layout stayed. Only what was actually in the way came out, and it came out clean, without dragging extra work into a schedule that didn’t have room for it.

Take out too little and your reno crew runs into problems mid-job. Take out too much and you’re back-billing repairs nobody budgeted for. Either way, it’s not your reno anymore. It’s your rework.

Comment DEMO if you need a demo sub that won’t hand your reno crew a problem to solve.

Most GCs who know us, know us for one thing. Demo, usually. Maybe abatement.

What they don’t always know is that the same crew they’ve already trusted for one phase of a job can cover the rest of it too. Mold shows up mid-reno, or a fire or water job needs cleanup before rebuild can start, and the instinct is to go find a specialist for that piece, because that’s just how the industry’s set up. Everyone stays in their lane.

That instinct is costing you time you don’t have to lose. A new company means a new quote, a new schedule to slot into, a new crew that’s never seen your site walking in cold. All for a phase we were already qualified to handle.

We didn’t want to be a lane. If you’ve called us for one of these, the next one doesn’t need a new company. It needs a call to us.

Comment AMC and we’ll walk you through everything one team can actually cover.

Most companies in this space pick one lane. Demo, or remediation, or restoration. Then they spend their career sending you somewhere else for the rest.

We didn’t want to be that call. Every one of these shows up in our work regularly, not once in a while, so keeping it all in-house was never really optional if we wanted to do this right.

It just meant more licensing, more training, more equipment sitting in our yard that most companies never bother carrying, because most never need it enough to make it worth it.

That’s the real cost behind “one team.” Nobody sees the years it took to get here. They just notice they never had to make a call to someone else.

Comment DEMO if you’re tired of managing four contractors to get one job done.

This entire space got gutted while Equinox stayed open around it.

Members were still walking past, tarps went up, and a full strip-out happened on the other side of them, tile, framing, old cabinetry, all of it coming down during business hours.

Not overnight, not on a closure day. In the morning, mid-operation, sealed off well enough that the rest of the gym never had to know construction was happening ten feet away.

That’s not just about protecting a space. It’s about a demo crew disappearing into the background while everyone else’s day carried on like normal.

Handled alongside the team at PT General Contractor , who brought us in for the demo.

Comment DEMO if your next scope includes a space that can’t shut down.

These cabinets weren’t headed for the dumpster. They were headed for a buyer.

That added a second layer of care to a job that already called for it. The floors got covered and the doorways sealed off before anything came out, because that’s what happens on every demo job, protecting the rest of the home while the work happens.

But with these cabinets, there was no room for a wrong angle against a wall corner either. Not just careful with the house. Careful with what was leaving it too.

Most people assume demo means everything gets destroyed. Sometimes the hardest part of the job is making sure nothing does, on either end.

Comment DEMO and we’ll tell you how we protect your home and everything you’re not ready to part with.

Most homeowners can’t actually tell the difference between a mold job that’s done and one that just looks done.

Here’s the thing nobody tells you: the mold you can see was never the real danger. It’s the spores you can’t see that decide whether this comes back in six months.

We suit up before we touch anything, seal off the space so nothing spreads through the rest of your house, and run HEPA filtration the whole time we’re working. Then, before that containment ever comes down, someone outside our crew tests the air.

Not us. Someone with zero reason to tell you what you want to hear.

That last part is the one most people don’t even know is supposed to happen. It’s also the only part that actually proves anything got fixed.

If a “cleanup” skipped it, you didn’t get a remediation. You got a paint job over the problem.

Comment CLEARANCE and we’ll walk you through what a real remediation job includes before you hire anyone.

Right now, the hallway ceiling in this house is the sky.

Full interior gut already behind this one. Now it’s the roof’s turn.

No crane up there. No machine doing the heavy lifting. Just the crew, hand tools, and rafters getting cut down section by section, one piece hauled off at a time.

The chimney’s the only thing still standing where the roof used to be.

ONELIFE DESIGN & BUILD is running the rebuild once this phase wraps.

Comment DEMO if your next project needs a crew that shows up for all of it, not just the parts people post.

Homeowner couldn’t get his new HVAC in until this was gone.

Old fiberglass insulation cleared out of this Scarborough attic to make room for a new HVAC system. Once that’s in, Foam Comfort comes in to respray fresh insulation.

Three trades, one timeline, nobody waiting around on anybody else.

That’s the part people don’t see when they hire us for insulation removal. It’s not just tear-out, it’s making sure the next crew walks into a clean site.

Comment ATTIC if your next job needs the space cleared first.

📍Insulation Removal, Scarborough

This is the step that decides if your clearance test passes on the first try.

Floor protection sealed edge to edge, poly walls taped and sealed to the ceiling, decon unit staged outside before anyone suits up.

This is what containment looks like when nothing gets rushed.

Comment “CONTAIN” if you want to know what actually needs to be in place before your next hazmat scope gets the green light.

20,000 square feet, and the whole shape of this store just changed in one day.

Our crew pulled down a major interior wall along with several others to turn this into one full open concept retail floor, the layout this client’s been picturing instead of a space still working around old walls. Bathroom’s the only thing not moving.

Everything else was fair game.

This is the part of a build nobody sees on opening day, the demo that decides what the finished floor plan can actually become.

Comment “DEMO” and we’ll get the conversation started on your space.
