Bats often enter attics through gaps in roof shingles, mortar, and vents. If left unchecked, their droppings, known as guano, can potentially spread airborne diseases.
Watch for these signs of bats in your attic:
✅ Piles of guano in the attic, insulation, gutters, or beside the house
✅ Stains on ceilings or walls from urine
✅ Strong ammonia-like odors
✅ Smudge marks or oily streaks on walls
✅ High-pitched squeaking noises
