Searching for an experienced and professional Field Operations Manager to contribute on the fields and in the office.
As Snow Wrangler's Field Operations Manager, you will be responsible for executing and improving training standards, hiring procedures, work flow, and much more.
Requirements:
- Working 50% in field, 50% in office
- Motivated self-starter, with reliable tendencies
- Proficient in your use of Microsoft Windows
- Strong ability to communicate both verbally and written
- Maintain an organized work schedule, attentive to field employees proceedings
- Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised
- Capable of meeting tight deadlines when working with large workloads
- Leader and Team player, able of supervising and coordinating large groups
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work alongside dispatch team and supervisor - ensuring timely completion of work while maintaining fleet and equipment effectiveness
- Working with account and sales manager to direct budget
- Going to job sites to evaluate employee efficiency as well as making necessary adjustments
- Create service schedules to maintain and increase efficiency of workflow: ensuring tasks completed before deadlines, booking equipment maintenance when required
- Consolidate large scaled project completion while simultaneously conducting quality control inspections
- Direct, control, and evaluate daily operations of the company and employees making right adjustments to improve productivity
Duties will include:
- Drop-off/Pick-up equipment and vehicles from mechanics and maintenance facilities
- Inspect workers on field, drop-in on crew leaders when necessary
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns as they occur
- Oversee or supervise and provide training to employees when using new equipment
- Streamlining operations revolving around consistent work
Office Management Duties:
Preforming general administrative functions such as:
- Managing Office Staff by setting expectations, providing training, and intervening when needed
- Providing employees with support where necessary
- Drafting documents, scheduling jobs, and project management
- Maintaining files and logs electronically and on paper
- Implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems
- Delegation of field workers procedures
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years - Track Record in operations management
Minimum 2 years - Project management role - PMP designation an asset
Minimum 5 years - Working in service industry
NECESSARY - Fleet management experience and knowledge of snow removal and landscape industry
NECESSARY - Own means of transportation
