A little greenery before the leaves start changing.

This backyard beautifully uses a mix of wood and stone materials. The fence and decking are both made from Ipe, while the patio was created with natural stone. Bringing the two together is a concrete wall with integrated lighting that helps contain the garden beds while also creating a sense of dimension in the space.

If this isn’t the perfect backyard, I don’t know what is.

The native planting in this garden perfectly complements the reclaimed natural stone and garden sculptures. The Ipe deck and stairs continue to keep that natural feeling while creating separation between the upper and lower patios.

This backyard is a Casey van Maris award winner, and it’s easy to understand why!
