Do you love boxwoods? We do too ! Boxwoods do have some issues that need to be addressed if you wish to make that perfect topiary or hedge a reality. The boxwood in the photo has been infected by boxwood leaf miner. This small insect lays eggs in early summer and it’s larvae eat the tissue inside the leaf. Usually you can tell an infected plant from the splotchy yellowish foliage and general loss of robust growth. If you have boxwoods that aren’t looking so great, chances are this is the issue they have. We can help with that !
