Last Friday, our team at studioDEEP kicked off work on the wall mockup as a part of the Toronto Biobuild Collective. We began assembling the ELEMENT 5 mass timber CLT panels along with the highly innovative Granab subfloor system. In just a few more building sessions, the full wall section will come together and be ready to showcase at the upcoming exhibition.

Exploring new tools and testing new workflows.

Our visualization team has been actively researching how AI can support architectural visualization without replacing the design process behind it.

This short sequence shows part of that exploration: from lighting pass, to raw render, to a final AI-enhanced image. A mix of traditional CGI workflows and new AI-driven post production techniques.

We see AI not as a shortcut, but as another creative tool that can help us iterate faster, communicate ideas more clearly, and push image quality further.
