Who says work ends when the lights go down? 🎭🥂

We spend our days in work boots, hard hats, and business attire, putting in countless hours doing what we love.

But every now and then, we trade our everyday uniforms for tuxedos and evening gowns, and the work continues in a different setting.

Because what makes our industry special isn’t just the projects we build, it’s the community we’ve built along the way. A community of talented people who inspire, support, collaborate, and genuinely want to see one another succeed.

These evenings remind us that networking isn’t just about business cards and opportunities. It’s about friendships, shared ambitions, and lifting each other up.

Some modern homes are designed to blend in.

Others are built to be experienced as art.

When we began conceptualizing Project Farrington in the Bayview and York Mills neighbourhood, the mandate was clear: break the mold of traditional modernism. We didn’t want to design another glass box. We wanted to create a structure that felt entirely sculpted.

Instead of standard finishes, we introduced a highly bespoke material palette across all three storeys. Notice the textures, fluted architectural panels juxtaposed against smooth, oversized slabs. Warm, bold metallic banding intersecting with sharp vertical lines.

Because true luxury isn’t just about having a large home.

It’s about living in something that has never been done before.

But striking architecture must also be deeply livable. While the front facade acts as a commanding, gallery-like statement, the rear of the estate shifts entirely to focus on connection and retreat. A sprawling covered loggia, suspended lounge chairs, and glowing fire features draw the family outside, turning the backyard into a private resort.

This is the secret behind the most memorable custom homes:

When history is this beautiful, you don’t replace it—you preserve it.

This original late-1800s handrail once led to the church’s bell tower. Today, it remains exactly where it belongs, carefully restored as part of a remarkable church-to-home conversion.

The brick wall behind it pays tribute to the original exterior, while above, the bell tower has been transformed into a private gym and the intermediate level into a custom walk-in closet.

A century of craftsmanship, preserved for generations to come.
