From a small workshop in Austria to a growing presence across North America

Since 1984, Hargassner has been driven by one goal: making biomass heating more efficient, reliable and comfortable. What started as a family business has grown into an international manufacturer with more than 185,000 boilers in operation worldwide and customers in over 43 countries.

Our North American journey began more than 20 years ago with our first installation in Canada. Today, with our headquarters in Toronto, local warehousing and a strong partner network, we're continuing to bring proven Austrian biomass heating technology to customers across Canada and the United States.

Depuis 1984, Hargassner poursuit un objectif clair : rendre le chauffage à la biomasse plus efficace, plus fiable et plus confortable. Outdoor Farm Show Canada Recap 🇨🇦

Together with our dealer, Northern Shield BioHeat, Peter and Stefan had the pleasure of attending the Outdoor Farm Show in Woodstock, Ontario, last week.

It was an exciting three days filled with inspiring conversations, new connections, and valuable insights into the challenges and needs of agricultural businesses.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by and shared their experiences and ideas with us.
We’d also like to thank Northern Shield BioHeat for the great collaboration and support throughout the show.
We are looking forward to continuing our partnership and to many more exciting joint projects ahead!

Retour sur le Outdoor Farm Show Canada 🇨🇦

En collaboration avec notre distributeur, Northern Shield BioHeat, Peter et Stefan ont eu le plaisir de participer au Salon agricole en plein air de Woodstock, en Ontario, la semaine dernière.

Ces trois journées passionnantes ont été riches en conversations inspirantes, en nouvelles rencontres et en informations précieuses sur les défis et les besoins des entreprises agricoles.

Un grand merci à tous ceux qui se sont arrêtés à notre kiosque et qui ont partagé leurs expériences et leurs idées avec nous.

Reliable heat, day after day 🔥

The Eco-HK wood chip boiler was developed for anyone who refuses to compromise when it comes to heating.

Thanks to its fully automatic operation, robust technology, and great flexibility in fuel selection, it ensures comfortable heating with minimal effort. Whether in agriculture, commercial settings, public buildings, or residential complexes: The Eco-HK reliably delivers the required output.

And what if heating demand increases? By cascading multiple units, outputs of up to 4 MW can be achieved. This makes the Eco-HK suitable even for large buildings and district heating projects.

Une chaleur fiable pour la communauté 🇨🇦

Depuis 2019, la municipalité de Saint-Cléophas, au Québec, fait confiance à une chaudière à bois déchiqueté Hargassner Eco-HK 150 pour assurer le chauffage de plusieurs bâtiments publics, dont le centre communautaire.

Ce projet se distingue notamment par sa chaufferie conçue sur mesure. Alors que Hargassner a fourni l’ensemble du système de chauffage, la municipalité a construit le bâtiment autour de celui-ci, créant ainsi une solution parfaitement adaptée à ses besoins. Un système de toit hydraulique permet le chargement simple et pratique des copeaux de bois par le haut, rendant la manutention du combustible plus sûre et plus efficace.

Combiné à une alimentation automatique en combustible et à une régulation intelligente, le système fournit une chaleur fiable tout au long de l’année, tout en réduisant la dépendance aux combustibles fossiles et en contribuant à une meilleure prévisibilité des coûts énergétiques.

Reliable heat for the community 🇨🇦

Since 2019, the municipality of Saint-Cléophas, Québec has relied on a Hargassner Eco-HK 150 wood chip boiler to provide heat for multiple public buildings, including the community center.

One feature that makes this project stand out is the custom-built heating facility. While Hargassner supplied the complete heating system, the municipality constructed the building around it, creating a solution tailored to local requirements. A hydraulic roof system allows for simple and convenient wood chip loading from above, making fuel handling safer and more efficient.

Combined with automated fuel feeding and smart controls, the system delivers reliable heat year-round while reducing reliance on fossil fuels and helping keep energy costs predictable.
