LEGAL BASEMENT CONVERSION - DRYWALL TAPING & FINISHING IN PROGRESS

Drywall taping, mudding and sanding are underway throughout the legal basement conversion. The newly built walls and ceilings are being prepared for primer and paint, creating a smooth, even surface for the final finish.

This living room was completely finished with a full-height fireplace wrapped in stacked stone, black fireplace insert, custom built-in cabinetry on both sides, beige engineered hardwood flooring and updated walls and trim throughout.

PROJECT TREELAWN - THE BASEMENT

Part of a larger full home renovation, this previously unfinished basement was completely reworked to create a functional, finished lower level.

The finished lower level now includes a glass-enclosed home gym, office, entertaining areas, two finished access points, new flooring, detailed wall moulding and much more.

What was once unfinished basement space is now a fully realized part of the home, transformed into a lower level that feels considered, complete and seamlessly integrated.

PROJECT HALIBURTON – MODERN RUSTIC LIVING SPACE

The exposed log construction is what gives this living space its character. Clean architectural lines and a restrained material palette introduce a refined modern rustic aesthetic, while custom wall panelling adds depth and definition to the interior.

New windows and doors brought more natural light into the space, while new flooring established a clean foundation throughout. A rebuilt fireplace, custom millwork, an integrated laundry area and updated interior finishes completed the renovation.

PROJECT CONLIN – INTEGRATED MARBLE VANITY

The impact of natural stone comes from how it’s used, not how often it appears.

Designed as part of this custom home build, the powder room features marble carried seamlessly across the integrated sink, vanity surface and backsplash, allowing a single material to define the space. Every remaining finish was intentionally restrained, allowing the natural movement of the stone to take centre stage.

Floating millwork, a wall-mounted faucet, wallpaper and concealed under-cabinet lighting complete the composition without competing for attention.

PROJECT ROCHDALE – WHAT THE FINISHED PHOTOS DON’T SHOW

Long before the finished flooring takes shape, every existing finish that no longer serves the space has to come out.

This stage involved selective demolition throughout the main floor, removing the original flooring, stripping the staircase back to its base, opening sections of the walls where required, and preparing every surface before reconstruction could begin.

While these steps rarely appear in the finished photographs, they’re often what separates a lasting renovation from one that only looks good on the surface. It’s the work completed beneath the finished materials that lays the foundation for every result that follows.

PROJECT ROSEVIEW — THE BATHROOM

This bathroom was fully gutted and rebuilt.
The renovation began with new drywall and a reconstructed subfloor, including lowering the shower base to create a curbless entry. A custom bench and recessed niche were integrated into the shower before it was fully waterproofed.

The space was completed with a new bathtub, a glass shower enclosure with black framing and matching black fixtures. A new vanity, updated lighting, toilet, door and trim to complete the room. 🛁
