Today’s task: leveling the basement floor with self-leveling concrete. After completing the waterproofing and plumbing backfill — and with the existing slab in rough shape — it was time to get this floor flat and ready for tile.

Next up, we’ll be installing Ditra Heat mats to bring in-floor heating throughout the space.

We’re teaming up with our good friends at for the tile work, and we can’t wait to show you the final result. This basement is going to be beautiful!
