Do you know that the world is not unfair to you?
The world is fair to everyone. It doesn’t wake up every morning deciding who to favour and who to punish with bad luck.
The world is neutral.
What you make out of it depends largely on what you do with the opportunities, problems, people, knowledge and time around you.
Sometimes, we spend too much time looking at people who are already ahead and conclude that life simply favoured them.
But you don’t know how many times they failed quietly.
You don’t know how many doors they knocked on before one opened.
You don’t know how many times they introduced themselves before somebody finally remembered their name.
This is why you must learn to announce yourself.
Nobody owes you an announcement.
If you have a skill, show it.
If you have an idea, build it.
If you have something valuable to say, say it.
If there is something you want to become, start behaving like someone who is seriously working towards becoming it.
Stop hiding somewhere and expecting the world to discover you by accident.
Some people are talented but invisible.
Some are intelligent but silent.
Some have beautiful ideas sitting inside their heads while people with half their knowledge are already building businesses, creating opportunities and becoming known.
The world cannot reward what it does not know exists.
Stop living as if your own has Finished.
You are still here.
As long as you are still here, there is still something you can create out of your life.
Stand up again.
Learn.
Build.
Introduce yourself.
Enter rooms.
Talk about what you do.
Put your work where people can see it.
Announce yourself.
Because sometimes the opportunity you are waiting for is also waiting to know that you exist.
