Everyone thinks our garden is pest free. It's not.

Two crops, one bed, zero wasted space!

We planted cucamelons on the north end of the garlic bed, right between the last couple rows, with a trellis to train them upward. putting vining plants on the north side is a small-space trick we love because the vertical growth stays out of the way and won't cast shade over everything else.
