Proud to support the Timmins and District Humane Society and the amazing impact they have in our community. We’re grateful for the work they do and happy to contribute to such a great local organization. 🐾

A huge thank you to Johnston's Electrical for absolutely coming to our rescue and purchasing us a brand new washing machine for the shelter. ❤️

Matt went above and beyond by personally picking it up and delivering it right to our door, where Shelter Operations Manager Chelsey Romain was there to greet him. This generosity means more than we can properly put into words!

With the amount of laundry a shelter goes through every single day, this is truly going to make a massive difference for both our team and the animals in our care.

We are beyond grateful for the kindness and support from our community. Thank you for helping us continue to do what we do. 🐾

We went into this year’s Santa Claus parade with one goal: to win the brightest float — and we did! ⚡️💡

There’s something so special about events like these — they really seem to bring the city together. We live in such an amazing, diverse community, and it’s great to see everyone out enjoying themselves and getting into the holiday sprit!

We want to thank all of our employees, families and friends who volunteered their time to come and help us set up the float, look after the little ones or hand out candy.

Thank you to IJB Cinematics for capturing some amazing shots and to the Timmins Santa Claus Parade, Your Downtown Timmins and The City of Timmins for hosting the event and ensuring it went smoothly and safely.

We will see you all again, next year! We will make the promise now of an even brighter float for 2026 - bring sunscreen!

We would like to take the time to thank Discovery Silver for inviting Johnston’s Electrical to your annual Family Day! We had a great time getting to meet everyone and it was a fantastic event for employees and vendors alike.

You may remember that we had (3) $100 Prepaid Mastercard's to give away. The winners were:

Journeyperson Base Rate: $52.62/hour

Plus 12% VP & SHP

Total Wage Package: $79.20/hour

Apprentice wages are pro-rated as per the IBEW Local 1687 Collective Agreement

Foreman and Sub Foreman wages pro-rated as per the IBEW Local 1687 Collective Agreement

We are looking to fulfil local positions, and this is a great opportunity to be brought into the IBEW.

Apprentices must be approved through NOJAC.
