The countdown to the Canadian Mining Expo is on, and the Itec Timmins team is busy getting everything ready for one of Northern Ontario's premier mining industry events. With hundreds of exhibitors, industry leaders, networking opportunities, live demonstrations, and the popular Projects in the Pipeline sessions, the Expo is always a highlight on the mining calendar.

Quality Contracting has been doing small-scale float moves for the past 5 years, and through hard work, dedication, and an amazing team, we’ve been able to continue growing and reach this huge milestone.

Now Hiring – Part-Time On-Call Mechanic

Quality Contracting is looking for a reliable and experienced Part-Time On-Call Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities Include:

* Performing service and maintenance inspections on equipment
* Working on heavy trucks, transport equipment, trailers, and small engines
* Troubleshooting electrical issues, including truck and trailer lighting systems
* Completing repairs and preventative maintenance
* Keeping accurate maintenance and service logs
* Keeping track of maintenance schedules and upcoming service intervals

Requirements:

✔ Experience working on heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers
✔ Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
✔ Ability to work independently
✔ Valid driver’s licence considered an asset
✔ Flexible availability for on-call work
✔ Ability to keep organized maintenance and service records
