The coffee table top is not as flat as I hoped, some not perfect angles in the glue up... so, we bring out my analogue router sled and get to work! This type 11 No.5 is cutting lime butter!

Cleaning up a little walnut cake dish for my sister, this will be cut round (jig saw, not by hand) and then a little groove with my router plane.

Just over 2 years ago my grandpa passed away, and I never had a chance to woodwork with him. He was a fantastic woodworker! My Dad just brought his workbench back from Saskatchewan for me, and now I am honoured to get to spend some time with him every time I'm out in the shop, which is one of the greatest gifts.

No tripod, so I'm holding my phone between my knees, pardon the strange angle!

Working on shaping the back of the head of the spoon to round it off a bit, then some thining on the handle and it should be close!

Cleaned up and testing my new to me Stanley No.5! It may be 110-120 years old, but it cuts like butter and leaves a silky smooth surface behind.

Cleaning up some walnut for our soon to be coffee table, look at that grain pop!

I rescued this from a barn back in Carleton Place where it had been laying in a heap for 20+ years. Lots of twists and humps, lots of character, lots of beautiful wood!
