Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. Must be able to drive 18 speed manual transmission. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting aggregate to and from various locations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate dump truck to transport materials to designated locations
- Inspect truck before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, and fuel consumption
- Perform basic truck repairs as needed and keeping truck clean and tidy is a must
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedule
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements AZ or DZ license - Own transportation to and from shop yard
- Proven experience operating dump trucks or other heavy equipment
- Basic truck repair skills!!
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Wage:
- Pay will be based on experience and the effort the driver puts in
- Keep the truck in good working order
- Daily pre and post inspection
- Weekly greasing of truck
- Being easy on the equipment and keeping truck spotless
- Showing up and not blowing shifts
