Small Business Spotlight: Stump Ripper Landscaping

Founded in 2024, Stump Ripper Landscaping is a locally owned business specializing in professional stump removal throughout Thunder Bay and the surrounding area. Owner Sean Fedun launched the business at just 16 years old after participating in the Thunder Bay CEDC Summer Company Program, turning an identified gap in the local market into a growing entrepreneurial success.

Inspired by conversations with homeowners who were struggling to find timely stump removal services, Sean saw an opportunity to create a business focused on providing reliable, specialized solutions. Since then, Stump Ripper Landscaping has continued to grow while building a reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction.

Looking ahead, Sean is focused on expanding the business by reaching more clients, investing in new equipment to make stump removal even more efficient and precise, and increasing the company's visibility through digital advertising across Thunder Bay.
