In Memory of Sadie ❤️
Yesterday, we said goodbye to a very special member of our business.
For over 13 years, Sadie came to work. She wasn’t just the dog who happened to be at the shop .. she was part of the shop. She grew up there, grew old there, and became a familiar face to so many people who walked through our doors.
She greeted customers, kept us company, and somehow managed to make an ordinary day at work a little better just by being there.
The current owner adopted Sadie when he was just a boy. She was there as he grew up and watched him become a man. Through all of life’s changes, she was always there. Loyal and loving, while never asking for anything in return.
She taught what unconditional love really means.
There is an emptiness at the shop that won’t be filled by another dog. There will always be a spot where we expect to see her, a moment when we’ll instinctively look for her, and customers who will ask where she is.
She wasn’t just our dog.
She was our coworker, our companion, our greeter, and our family.
Thank you, Sadie, for over 13 incredible years.
Rest peacefully, Sadie. ❤️
You were a very good girl. And you always will be.
