Even with the snow still sticking around, we’re ready to kick off the Spring season!🌱

Whether you need:

•Mulching/Land Clearing
This can be anything from walking/game trail systems, to ROW clearing, cleaning up existing fence lines or clearing a way for new ones, creating or maintaining fire breaks (Get it done before it’s too late!), site preparation, or whatever else you may want!

•Brush cutting
Clean up Pastures, fields, and overgrown areas.

Let us take care of them now, while there’s still snow and the fire risks are low!

We know we’ve been absent, but that’s because we’ve been busy… MOVING!

NexGen is now based out of Leduc County, more specifically just North of Sunnybrook, AB.

So HELLO Leduc County and surrounding areas! We’re so excited to be your go too company for all your land needs, whether that’s mulching, stump grinding, post hole drilling, farm/scrap cleanups or any of the other services that we provide!

With that being said, because the area that gave us our beginning has out hearts, if the serviced property is within Mountain View County limits, we will save you the travel cost!

Did you know that we are still able to mulch in the winter??❄️

There are actually many benefits to it…

-The trees/brush cut easier making the job go more efficiently

-Normally soft ground is now frozen creating better access to those hard to reach spots, as well as prevents compaction on the soil

-The mulch helps retain moisture during melting

-Kickstart nutrients entering back into the soil because the mulch has already started the decomposition stage

FAQ’s

How much do you charge?
-We have a flat rate per hour for mulching services and a flat rate per hour for skid steer services (root rake, stump grinding, etc). We also charge a travel fee per hour of travel.
-For all jobs, if given a budget we will stay within it or discuss a reasonable budget for the requested work.

Why do you charge so much?
-You pay for the quality of work you receive. We pride ourselves on doing the best we can and making sure our clients are satisfied with the work completed.
-It also needs to be factored in the kind of equipment we use, certain set ups are more efficient than others. Different equipment handles certain jobs different ways.
-Terrain is also another key component to factor in, is it flat ground with dense brush? Is it complex terrain with sparse large trees? Every job is differnt and poses different challenges.

How many acres can you clear in a day?
-Again there are many different things to factor in, as a general standard we can complete about .75-1.25 acres of clear cutting per 10 hour day on flat terrain.
-Job scope (clear cutting or selective mulching), vegetation maturity/density/type, terrain features (flat/hilly/rocky/wet), and client expectations are all things that need to be taken into account when answering this question.

How big will the mulch material be?
-The size of the material will vary depending on the age and species, on average most material will end up 3-12" in length and roughly 2" in diameter.
