We had a blast tonight at Laird International Raceway, cheering on our sponsored King’s Plumbing and Heating #78 car, and the Herrington Race Team!
We got a 2nd and a 1st in the Heat Races. We couldn’t quite hang onto it in the 25 Lap feature, but it was a lot of fun to watch!
Back at it next Thursday! Racing starts at 7pm!

🔥 Fire Ban in Effect – Town of Thessalon 🔥
Due to current conditions, the Town of Thessalon has implemented a Fire Ban. Effective immediately, all open-air burning permits are suspended until further notice.
Propane and natural gas barbecues may continue to be used safely. Small, attended campfires used solely for cooking are still permitted but must be closely supervised at all times and fully extinguished when no longer in use. These fires can only be lit for cooking, 2 hours before sunset to 2 hours after sunrise.
Organized campgrounds are subject to their own rules regarding campfires.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping protect our community, our firefighters, and our forests. Please do your part to reduce the risk of wildfire.

Effective Immediately… The Municipality of Huron Shores has imposed a Fire Ban. No daytime burning. Small controlled campfires are still allowed, but only for cooking. Warmth these days should not be needed!
Please be careful in these very dry conditions. With the look of the extended forecast, we may see the MNR post a full Fire Restriction in the coming days. Stay tuned!
