It’s been a while since we’ve posted. Here’s a project that we have been working on for some time.

Tongue and Groove Construction is on the final stages of our first spec home. This house was built with quality and craftsmanship start to finish. Our thought process was to make a home that is more cost efficient in energy consumption. Double stud wall construction with higher insulation values and less thermal bridging. A new age lighting system that is low voltage and fully communicating (for those of you that are electronically inclined and wish to control your lighting right from your phone), a back up battery system with the capabilities of power all your lights during power outages. Full custom stamped covered concrete patios in the front and back! Water on demand that never runs out and is energy efficient. A large garage with a storage room that also access the full 4’ crawlspace with storage for days!

Framing going up start to finish. Attention to efficiency and safety. This house was built with thicker walls and double stud to increase energy efficiency and reduce thermal bridging. Handrails up on second floor before framing started and full harness on the truss work.
