There’s a lot that happens between an empty lot and handing over the keys, and none of it happens without the great trades and crews we get to work alongside every day.

From framing and trusses to roofing, electrical, plumbing, finishing and everything in between, there are a lot of hands that go into every Cedar Ridge home.

We’re pretty lucky to work with some great local people who show up, work hard and help us bring these homes together, rain or shine (and around here, there’s definitely a little rain 😅).

🏠 Building Tip: A Good Budget Starts Before Construction.

One of the biggest concerns we hear from people considering a new home is:

“How do I know my build is actually going to stay on budget?”

At Cedar Ridge Builders, we believe the answer is having a clear process before construction begins.

We work through the details, selections, and costs with our clients ahead of time so that when construction starts, everyone knows what we’re building and what it will cost.

That means you’re not constantly making decisions during construction and wondering what they’re going to do to your final price.

Once we start building, the price doesn’t suddenly change because something was overlooked.

If the plan stays the same, the price stays the same.

Of course, you can still change your mind. If you decide during construction that you’d like to add or change something, we’ll go through that change and its cost with you before moving ahead.

Building a home is a big investment. Having the details figured out from the beginning makes the whole experience a lot simpler and makes the budget a lot easier to trust.

Project Update!

This is one of our latest projects going up in Kitimat BC, beginning with a freshly finished foundation, the first step in creating a home that will stand strong for generations.

It's always exciting to watch a project take shape, knowing that what starts as concrete will soon become a place filled with family, memories, and everyday moments.

We take pride in every stage of the build because the work you don't always see is just as important as the finished home.
