My dad has told me stories of being with my great grandmother as she collected trailing blackberries. They are the only blackberry plant native to our area. If you’d like to find some a great place to look these days is in newly regenerated logged area. They like disturbed areas.

PLEASE READ **Auction 3
Guys this one is different , all funds will go to my friend and fellow artist / Liǧʷiłdax̌ʷ family, Sonny Assu. Shipping is still 25$ but I will cover the shipping and the extra 25$ will go to Sonny as well.

Last month suddenly and unexpectedly sonny lost his mother, Dani….. leaving behind sonny, , grandchildren and her partner , Jack of 27 years.

Dani was a very kind woman who i met through my dad as they worked together on treaty issues … Dani made some of the most beautiful hide hand drums. I had the privilege to paint on a few over the years. Naturally Devastated by this profound loss , Sonny had the heartbreaking task of looking after his mother’s final wishes and laying her to rest …..

On the day of Dani’s service ,after the funeral Sonny and Jack were together and suddenly Jack passed away….

What a deep profound loss… his mother and then his mother’s parter of 27 years. In a matter of weeks…..

I’ve added in a bonus print in addition to the bird house.

Please consider a bid and all funds to will go to Sonny and the cost of organizing yet another service
