Bringing Back a Beloved Tradition to Support Local Healthcare


Lange Bros Tree Service have rekindled a cherished family tradition, their annual summer BBQ, in support of the Stratford General Hospital Foundation.

Originally started years ago by Frank and Ellen Lange, continued by Rae and Cindy Lange in partnership with Dale and Joan Meadows, the event took a hiatus before Nick and his wife, Jessica, third-generation owners of the family business, decided to bring it back. Over the past two summers, this event has raised an incredible $5,710 to help purchase a vital signs monitor for the Medicine Unit.

Hosted in August, the BBQ brought together staff members, friends, family, and business associates for a day filled with great food, community spirit, and an auction table overflowing with donated items.

Nick and Jessica shared their heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed, especially Brent and Sharon Foley, whose help was instrumental in making the event such a success.

Through the return of this meaningful tradition, the Lange family continues to carry forward a legacy of generosity and community care that began with Frank and Ellen, all while helping ensure local patients receive the best possible care, close to home.
