Spring Elm drop and leave scenario Pugwash

Elm suffered from a significant leader loss during a wind event many years ago that allowed rot to enter and significantly pe*****te the main stem. This compromised the overall structure and led to nearby attached leaders to begin to separate. Pushing the homeowners to become uneasy during any wind event knowing a significant portion was overhanging the home.

I came by and safely eliminated the weight above the home and brought down the remains without issue.

Nearby Oliver.

Declining Sugar Maple suffering from a significant partially dead top and wind damage. The development of a uncontrollable split finally marked the end of an era. 🌳

Once the centerpiece to the farm property for 135+ years this tree will soon become part of properties again...🔜

Larger chunks were harvested to dry for future end table 🪑 builds, while the smaller remains went for prime firewood 🪵 and rich garden mulch 🌿.

Two White Spruce broke off and hit the roof of this bunkie during a wind storm this past winter. I was there to eliminate the danger and assess the damage at that time. I recently returned for the final clean up and to take two more dead leaners.

Closed this one out with stump grinding, minor landscaping, and grass seed.

Fine line falling in Amherst Shore.

Planted line of four White Spruce dropped next to a cottage, new outdoor shower addition, and woodpiles. Not to mention a neighboring property line, cottage, and baby barn.

All the wood was used to feed the outdoor firepits for the coming seasons ahead.

Rewarding opportunity to tend a mature 5 acre stand of mixed wood within the Village Limits of Tatamagouche.

Scattered White Ash, Red Maple, White Spruce, Largetooth Aspen, Red Oak, and Trembling Aspen throughout with a dominant approximate one acre roadside pocket of mature Scots Pine.

Eliminated the overhead hazards and Fiona windthrow throughout while capitalizing on prime saw material to credit the landowner.

This stand now has a visibly clear understory to spot Slenderman in time for Halloween...
