This is a timer for an outside light. The light only turns on when it’s dark and the timer turns it off between 11pm and 6am. This saves over $40 a year in power consumption. Ask us how!

The mechanical timer is easy to set but there are lots of other options. A programable timer would give you lots of options. We could also use a wifi switch that you could control from a remote or from your phone. There are lots of options so that we can make it work the best for any situation.

Here is another service upgrade for some happy customers. The outside meter base and mast were installed on a solid pvc backing so that the siding can be changed without needing to touch the electrical installation. The new panel has extra space for more breakers so they are ready for future projects. The most important thing is that the new panel is much more safe than the old panel. The old panel was a Federal breaker box and those have a poor reputation for being hazardous. If you have a Federal breaker box and need it replaced, give us a call.

Another panel upgrade completed. The old panel was mounted to the concrete foundation which gets cold and causes drafts. It also increases moisture in the electrical panel which can cause rust and corrosion. While replacing the panel we installed insulation and sealed the vapour barrier. The new panel is much more safe and has extra space for future additions.
