Another great project completed for Discovery Mining in Timmins. This project was the construction of an emergency spillway dam utilizing 1,145 cubic meters of concrete which is 127 truckloads!
Hats off to the whole SWM team for the hard work and long hours right through a record setting northern Ontario winter!

Smith Customs Inc. Investing in innovative winter concrete construction techniques. These tents will save our mining client many thousands of dollars of costs and weeks on schedule. These tents will be deployed to a project and have 4 of these linked together to permit construction to progress in a climate controlled environment. This method reduces costs, reduces greenhouse gas emissions through less energy required to heat, and increase the safety of our most precious resource- our people.
