Last week, members of our Iron Maple team attended the NB Women in Construction Conference in Moncton, connecting with women from across the industry and celebrating their contributions to construction.

A highlight of the event was the announcement of BuildHERS NB, a new Women in Construction Network launched through the Moncton Northeast Construction Association. We’re especially proud that three of the network’s founding members are part of the Iron Maple team!

And to top it all off, our team took home gold in the Skills Canada competition for their creative design and construction of a site portable washroom! 🥇

It’s great to see our team getting involved, building connections and helping create more opportunities for women in construction.

A new look for a familiar Sackville location!

We’re proud to share the completion of the FreshCo retrofit in Sackville, where an existing Lawtons location was reworked to introduce a full FreshCo grocery store while maintaining the Lawtons pharmacy within the space.

The project included extensive updates throughout the existing building, creating new grocery and fresh food areas, checkout spaces, refrigeration, signage and finishes, all while integrating the pharmacy into the new store layout.

Retrofit projects like this are a great opportunity to give an existing building a new life while adapting it for a very different retail experience.

A great day connecting with women across Nova Scotia’s construction industry!

Members of our Iron Maple team attended the CANS Women in Construction event yesterday, bringing together women from across the industry to connect, share experiences and celebrate the growing role of women in construction.

Events like this are a great opportunity to build relationships outside of the jobsite and connect with others who are helping shape the future of our industry.

Summer is a busy and productive construction window for our team, with plenty happening across our projects.

It’s also important to make time to step away from the work and recharge. This summer, our team had the chance to get together for softball, along with our New Brunswick and Nova Scotia summer parties.

These are great opportunities to connect outside of the day-to-day and recognize the people behind the work.

Congratulations to the Amsterdam Inn Grand Falls on its grand opening.

Following 15 months of construction, the hotel achieved Substantial Completion on August 14, 2026, finishing ahead of schedule.

The new facility features 80 guest rooms, a full-service restaurant and bar, and an event and conference centre located just off the highway in Grand Falls.

Design and Project management services began in 2024, with on-site construction commencing in May 2025. The project brought together local trades, suppliers, and consulting partners from across New Brunswick.

Congratulations to the owners, the Town of Grand Falls, our trade partners, consultants, and everyone involved in bringing this project to a successful completion.

Après 15 mois de construction, l’hôtel a atteint l’étape de l’achèvement substantiel le 14 août 2026, devançant ainsi l’échéancier prévu.

Le nouvel établissement comprend 80 chambres, un restaurant et un bar à service complet, ainsi qu’un centre d’événements et de conférences situé à proximité de l’autoroute à Grand-Sault.

Les services de conception et de gestion de projet ont débuté en 2024, tandis que les travaux de construction ont commencé sur le site en mai 2025.

Le projet a mobilisé des entrepreneurs spécialisés, des fournisseurs et des partenaires-conseils de partout au Nouveau-Brunswick.

A finished look at Strada Health and Fitness!

Earlier, we shared this project while the finishing touches were still coming together. Now, with the space complete, we’re excited to share the final result.

From the curved reception desk and custom millwork to the integrated lighting, treatment rooms, fitness area, and warm wood finishes, there’s a lot of detail packed into this space. The result is a bright, welcoming environment designed around comfort, wellness, and functionality.

We're proud to share the completed Fox Subaru dealership, a project that reflects the dedication, craftsmanship, and collaboration of everyone involved.

Designed with both the customer and employee experience in mind, the new dealership features bright, open spaces, modern offices, an expansive service area, and a large rooftop solar array that will help support the facility's long-term energy efficiency and sustainability.

This project wouldn't have been possible without the commitment of our project team, site staff, consultants, and trade partners. Thank you to everyone who played a role in bringing this vision to life, and to Fox Subaru for trusting Iron Maple Constructors to deliver their new home.

Every project starts with a solid foundation.

This aerial view of our Windsor Park 6-Plex project captures a unique moment in construction, with four buildings at different stages of foundation work. From completed foundation walls to active forming and freshly prepared footings, it's a great snapshot of the progress happening on site.

While there's still plenty of work ahead, it's exciting to see the project taking shape. A big thank you to our site team and trade partners for the hard work and collaboration that continue to move this project forward.

The Moffett Apartment project is starting to rise.

Wood wall and floor panels are now arriving on site and being installed, bringing months of planning to life as the structure begins to take shape.

A big lift and another exciting milestone at Lantz Commercial Development.

This week, the fuel canopy was successfully installed at the future Shell station, marking another step forward as the site continues to take shape.

Lifts like this don't happen by chance. They require careful planning, precise coordination, and the expertise of everyone involved. From the crane operators and rigging crews to our site team and trade partners, every person played an important role in making the installation safe and successful.

It's always exciting to see a project begin to take on its final form, and this milestone brings us one step closer to welcoming the community to this new commercial development.
