Our team brought their Thanksgiving favourites, their appetites, and a little friendly competition. With a spread like this, choosing the winners was no small task. Going back for seconds? Much easier. 🍽️

A lot happens across the Lark Group of Companies in a year! Getting together for our annual Company Wide Meeting gave us a chance to hear from our teams, celebrate their work, and talk about what’s ahead.

We also made time for some fun, with mentalist Bro Gilbert adding a little mystery to the day. 🪄

It’s always good to catch up with the people we work with and share some laughs. Thank you to our teams at Lark Group, HealthTech Connex, Excellent Ice Kirkland, Excellent Ice Surrey, and PowerPlay Early Learning Centre for another great year and all the work that has gone into it. 💙

This week, we surprised our COO, Jack, with a rooftop birthday celebration—complete with a BBQ, cake, and plenty of laughs. 🎂☀️

Jack’s steady, thoughtful leadership shapes the way we work. He brings clarity to challenges, confidence to decisions and generously shares the experience that helps those around him grow. Beyond all he contributes as a leader, he’s someone we genuinely love hanging out with.

🎉 Join us in celebrating Matias Fisher on 10 summers with Lark Group!

Matias has taken on a variety of roles since 2016: hockey coach, labourer, and now Assistant Project Coordinator. This summer working on our Langley Arenas has been the most meaningful yet: real responsibility on a major build, and a direct line to his civil engineering studies at university. We’re proud to have him on the team!

In his own words, what keeps bringing him back every year is the people: "Every person I've had the pleasure of working with makes the company a better place." That's exactly why his favourite memory is lacing up his skates on the rink he'd just helped build, alongside the very crew that built it with him.

Congratulations on 10 summers, Matias. We can't wait to see everything you accomplish next! 💪

We were honoured to be invited by Township of Langley, BC to be among the first on the ice at the ARENAS at Langley Events Centre just under a week before it opens to the public! ❄️

Watching the people who poured the foundation and framed the walls finally get to lace up and take a lap with their families on what they built was a full-circle moment. 🏒⛸️

Thank you, Township of Langley, for having us. See you at the Grand Opening on September 9! 🎉
