Rot repair was a big part of this cabin restoration.

After stripping things back, we found damaged sections that couldn’t just be stained over or patched cosmetically. The rotten wood had to be removed, the logs had to be cut back to sound material, and replacement sections had to be prepared and fitted properly.

That’s the difference between making a cabin look better and actually restoring it the right way.

Bringing another log home back to life. 🪵

Years of weathering and old finish are coming off, revealing the natural timber underneath. This one is getting a proper exterior restoration — careful surface preparation, preservation, and a fresh finish designed to protect these logs for years to come.

There’s something satisfying about watching decades-old timber come alive again.
