Job Summary

The HSE Compliance Software Specialist owns the day-to-day administration of Allteck’s and Canadian Utility Construction’s contractor compliance and prequalification platforms — including ISNetworld (ISN), Avetta, ComplyWorks and SafeContractor — across more than fifty active client connections in Western and Central Canada. This position is the single point of accountability for keeping every client compliance profile current, accurate and in good standing so that our operating companies remain eligible to bid, be awarded and mobilize work.

The position reports to the Manager of Health and Safety and acts as the working link between the Project Management group and the Safety department, while also coordinating with Proposals, Fleet, Resources, Human Resources and Finance. Compliance workload is cyclical and driven by external client deadlines; the balance of the week is safety training administration and general HSE administrative support.

Must be adaptable, self-motivated, able to work both independently and within a team, and able to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, client compliance auditors and platform vendors through excellent verbal and written communication.

This is a detail-driven position with a significant share of the week being data entry, document formatting, records maintenance, and obtaining information you need to meet an external deadline.

Pay rate: $38.47 – 45.68 per hour

We're adding a new HSE Advisor - Field/Projects role to support our expanding project portfolio.
This position plays a key role in promoting safe work practices, conducting site visits, mentoring crews, and supporting regulatory compliance across our operations.

Job: HSE Advisor - Field and Projects (Full-Time)
Location: Burnaby, BC
Wage: $ 40.87 - $ 50.49 / hour

✅ 3-5 years of HSE experience in an industrial or construction environment (utility experience is an asset)
✅ Experience supporting remote projects and rotational camp-based work
✅ CRSP, CRST, or NCSO designation (or working toward certification) considered an asset
✅ Current Occupational First Aid Level 3 (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain
✅ Knowledge of provincial safety regulations, including WCB, OHS, CSA, and ANSI standards
✅ Strong auditing, incident investigation, risk assessment, and safety coaching skills
✅ Excellent communication, report writing, and relationship-building abilities
✅ Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean abstract and willingness to travel extensively
✅ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
