Behind the Paddle: Meet Kelly
We’re kicking off our new “Behind the Paddle” series by highlighting one of the friendly faces helping keep our projects moving smoothly every day, Kelly Maddox.
If you’ve driven through one of our work zones, there’s a good chance you’ve been greeted by Kelly’s positive attitude and welcoming smile. She brings patience, professionalism, and consistency to every shift, and she’s someone both our crews and the public can count on.
For Kelly, the work is personal.
“Safety is important to me because I am a Mom, and I want everyone’s kids (including my adult children), to come home alive & safe.
I like flagging because I always try to think from a driver’s perspective and do the best that I can to keep a clear pathway. I hope that being pleasant and polite will help make your drive through my work zone that much better!”
Kelly’s ability to connect with the public while staying focused and dependable is a huge part of what makes her so valued on site. We are grateful to her for being such an incredible representative of what professionalism, positivity, and care look like out in the field.
