If you follow the introduction of GMO seed and produce into our gardens and are concerned with the potential risks (and you should be) then this latest news release from CBAN is worth a read. The US govt wants to release a GM variety of a chestnut tree that threatens our native American chestnut which is listed as an endangered species!!

Join us Sunday at the Clayton Library. Socialize as we fold envelopes and pick up some seeds for fall crops like beets, spinach or lettuce. If you are looking for any specific seeds please email [email protected] with your request.

We recieved a donation of bulbs and while it is late in the season to start them you could grow them out now and store over the winter for strong healthy bulbs next season. Check out the selection on Sunday.
