Progress continues at The Colton Phase 2 in Langley.

Framing and wall panel installation are well underway across this six-storey building, with balconies, window openings, and sheathing all coming together. Once complete, this phase will add to the 371 homes The Colton is bringing to the community, including 95 adaptable units designed with accessibility in mind.

It's great to see this next phase taking shape.

The BCIT: British Columbia Institute of Technology Robert Bosa Carpentry Pavilion has come a long way since that first mass timber delivery.

Our team is now installing the exterior walls, the final major milestone before this two-storey building is complete. Once finished, the Pavilion will house BCIT's new Mass Timber Construction training program, combining a mass timber frame with light wood-frame interior walls.

We're proud to have been part of bringing this facility to life, one built to train the next generation of BC's tradespeople.

With the mass timber structure and second level now in place, our team has moved on to enclosing the building, bringing this two-storey facility one step closer to complete. Once finished, the Pavilion will house BCIT's new Mass Timber Construction training program, combining a mass timber frame with light wood-frame interior walls.

It's a great milestone to see, and there's still more to come as the project continues to take shape.

A delayed schedule is one of the biggest risks on any construction project, and it's rarely caused by a single issue. It's usually a chain reaction, one missed handoff between subcontractors throwing off everything downstream.

At NuFrame, our shipping, crews, and prefabrication all operate in-house. That means we're not waiting on a third party to deliver materials or show up on-site. Our schedule is our own to manage, start to finish.
