What’s a valley diverter?
It’s a piece of flashing installed where a roof valley meets the gutter. Its job is to redirect heavy water flow back into the gutter instead of allowing it to shoot over the edge during rainfall
Roof valleys can collect a surprising amount of water, especially on larger roofs. Without a valley diverter, that direct flow can lead to overshooting gutters, wet entryways, and water ending up where it shouldn’t
A small detail that helps your gutter system perform better where it matters
