*Throwback | Annacis Island Auto Terminal*

Some industrial projects are all about making the most of every square foot. At the Annacis Island Auto Terminal in Delta, MBG delivered a 31,000 sq ft pre-engineered steel building designed to meet the demands of a high-volume automotive operation.

Working alongside Jacob Bros Construction as the General Contractor, MBG delivered a clear-span structure that provides the open interior space required for vehicle movement, handling, and day-to-day terminal operations.

Completed in early 2025, this project demonstrates how pre-engineered steel construction can create large, functional spaces tailored to the needs of a busy industrial environment.

As the work progresses, this project is starting to look less like a construction site and more like the facility it was designed to be.

The BC Hydro Truck Storage Building is taking shape as more of the structure and building envelope come together on site. What started as a steel frame is now becoming a recognizable, functional space, bringing the project one step closer to completion.

There’s still work ahead, but it’s great to see the building taking shape at this stage of the process.

🚧 An Exciting New Chapter Begins at 140 Gateway! 🚧

We’re officially breaking ground on our newest development project in Airdrie, Alberta! The trucks are rolling, the work is beginning, and there’s plenty more to come.

140 Gateway is a new commercial development featuring 10 thoughtfully designed units, creating a modern space for businesses in one of Airdrie’s growing commercial areas.

Steady progress continues on this truck storage building and maintenance shop where the primary structural steel, roof system, and concrete slab are now complete. The project has entered the building enclosure phase, bringing us one step closer to delivering a high-performance truck storage facility built to support heavy-duty fleet operations.

Stay tuned as we continue transforming this structure into a fully operational truck storage and service facility.
