Another Navien NPF fully modulating hydro furnace installed by our team. Not only are these furnaces quieter, our clients have found the air in the home to be less dry. I can confirm this as I have a Navien NPF in my own home. Perhaps it’s the fact that the hydronic hear exchanger is heated to 140-150F vs 1000F in a traditional furnace.

The old combi was installed about the master bedroom closet in a tiny spot and there were also code violations. Our team moved the unit down to an accessible location and melt the piping as tight as possible but still serviceable. Some of the system components such as the expansion tank and air separator remained above.

The old Navien was crammed into an attic space above a walk in closet. There was not enough clearances to combustibles, and the unit was very difficult to access. Our team relocated the unit into the closet keeping the piping as tight as possible to maximize existing storage space while at the same time making this system serviceable. A great job by the team on a challenging retrofit with little space to work.
