Supporting Our Community

At Industra, we believe strong teams are built through connection, collaboration and a shared commitment to something bigger.

We’re proud to support Inlet Spirit Paddling Society and their growing paddling community in Port Moody. While dragon boat racing and construction may look very different, both rely on teamwork, trust, communication and bringing individual strengths together toward a common goal.

We’re proud to invest in the communities where our people live, work and play, and grateful to the Inlet Spirit team for the opportunity to be part of their journey.

Project Update | Sault Ste. Marie WWTP

Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario

Work is well underway on the H-pile installation for the Sault Ste. Marie Wastewater Treatment Plant project. The piles will provide stabilization to two existing clarifiers as part of this fast-paced project.

A total of 89 H-piles, each extending approximately 225 feet to refusal, will be installed. These will be supported by 89 one-cubic-metre concrete pile caps, doweled into the existing structure to provide both vertical and lateral support.

Project progress continues at the Yellowknife Lift Station.

Over the past two days, the Industra team stripped nearly 6,600 sq. ft. of PERI formwork, partially dismantled and banded materials for transport, and prepared the remaining components for the next wall lift, all while maintaining the project schedule.

Concrete construction requires coordination at every stage. From planning and material deliveries to rigging, crane operations, and field ex*****on, each part of the process plays an important role in keeping work moving efficiently.

This milestone reflects the team’s planning, coordination, and commitment to delivering quality work safely.

Three years ago, we expanded into Ontario. Since then, we’ve grown from a team of around 35 people to almost 200 across our operations. It’s been an incredible journey, and we’re just getting started.

We’re looking for people who don’t just want another job—they want to be part of building something. Current opportunities include:

• Estimators (HVAC, Industrial & Civil) – Ontario and BC
• Project Manager - Ontario
• Superintendents – Ontario & BC
  ◦ Upcoming projects in Ontario for Burlington and the Town of the Blue Mountains
  ◦ We’re specifically looking for people with wastewater treatment, pump station, or related heavy civil infrastructure experience. We have huge respect for those from the residential/high-rise sector, but these roles require industry-specific expertise.
• Contracts Manager – Surrey, BC
  ◦ A brand new role with the opportunity to help build and shape our contracts function as we continue to scale.

Our projects are located throughout the provinces, so if you’re a Superintendent, you need to love working out of town.

If you’re excited by growth, enjoy making an impact, and want to help shape the future of a company that’s going places, we’d love to hear from you. Check out our current vacancies on our LinkedIn Jobs page.

And if now isn’t the right time, follow our page to stay connected. As we continue to grow, there will be plenty more opportunities to come.

Celebrating 15 Years of Building Excellence

This year, Industra proudly celebrates 15 years of growth, innovation, and delivering complex industrial projects across Western Canada.

Over the past decade and a half, we’ve been fortunate to work alongside incredible clients, trusted partners, and a dedicated team whose commitment to safety, quality, and excellence has shaped who we are today.

The photo featured in this post is from one of our first major projects in 2012, when Industra was contracted by Mitsubishi Europe to demolish Unit 5 and remove the turbine and generator at the Medicine Hat Power Plant. The turbine and generator, each weighing 500,000 lbs, were jack-and-rolled onto railcars, secured using an engineered bracing system, and transported to Texas for refurbishment. It was a project that demonstrated the expertise and determination that continue to define our team today.

15 years later, we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together:

• Over 400 projects completed
• More than 200 employees
• Active projects across 5 provinces

To our employees, clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and community partners, thank you for being part of our journey. Your trust and support have made every milestone possible.

Here’s to the next 15 years of building lasting partnerships and delivering exceptional projects.
