GF Preston Limited has been in business for 64 years as a full-service heavy equipment dealer, 25 years as a DOOSAN dealer, and 7 years as a full-line Husqvarna dealer. GF Preston was established in 1958 by Grant Fredrick Preston. Through the years Grant formed a partnership with his son Don Preston, and in 1988 Don took over the business entirely. ad Preston and Brent Rudachyk. The Preston legacy continues for a 3rd generation. Since being under new management, GF Preston Ltd has grown substantially with a hyper-focus on customer service. As a result of this increase in overall business, our service department has grown to 4 technicians and 2 apprentices. Of our technicians, three are 310-T licensed, one is 421A licensed, and one is 310-S. We currently have 4 fully equipped service trucks, and 1 lube service truck to meet the demands of mobile service. Our parts team has grown to 3 technicians, all of whom bring industry-related experience. We now offer floating services and have a dedicated AZ driver. We service the surrounding municipalities and townships, as well as our extensive private customer line reaching; Sudbury, Temiskaming, Manitoulin Island, Nipissing, Parry Sound, Muskoka, Haliburton, and Simcoe districts. Some of our major contracts include Fowler Construction, Lafarge Canada, and Ferrovial Services. Our goal is to provide superior customer service through honesty, integrity, and good old-fashioned hard work. We believe every interaction is a chance to strengthen our partnerships with customers and communities, locally and beyond.
