It's very important to use the proper connectors when installing wiring. This wire was run through the side of a rooftop unit without a connector. The vibration of the compressor wore through the wire and blew a hole through the metal insulation and the side of the ac unit. Always remember to hire a licensed electrical contractor for your wiring.
